One thing I love about working at the front of the house is that I have the opportunity to wear almost anything in my closet. I don't have to worry if something is actually considered business casual. I am free to express my personality on a daily basis. When I work in the kitchen I am limited to denim, black t-shirts (or vintage graphic t's) and Converse sneakers. I find it necessary to accessorize with jeweled headbands, multiple bracelets, statement necklaces and sparkly earrings. Well during my last shift, Chef Leah asked if I could wear a bandana next time. A bandana?!? I own at least 5 of everything but that is one item that is not in my inventory. I've been stressing about it since last week. Luckily there were some extras at the restaurant so I grabbed an insanely bright tie-dyed one. Now the only thing left to do is figure out how to style my hair...although I'm stressing I find it comforting to know that the only stress I have in my life at this point is caused by my latest accessory.
***did you know that bandana is "to tie" in Hindu???***
